Fallacies

Strawman

The hollow target

Misrepresenting an argument to make it easier to attack.

A straw man is a form of argument where you refute a distorted version of your opponent's stance rather than their actual position. It is highly transparent to elite voters and will often result in a "Needs Improvement" tag.

The Trap Example

"A: "We should invest more in healthcare." B: "So you want to bankrupt the country?""

The Neutralizer

Restate your original point and ask them to engage with the specific data.
